The brief for this charming character bungalow was to renovate the bathroom and kitchen in a way that complemented the original character of the home, while making both spaces fit for modern day life.
The renovation was achieved on a budget using cost effective measures by preserving key elements, such as the beautiful timber flooring and some original fixtures.
In the kitchen, reconfiguring points of entry allowed for a more efficient and spacious environment, with shaker cabinetry in a bold yellow injecting the client’s personality.
The bathroom features a modern reimagining of the classic checkerboard tiles in a modern and subtle colour-way.
The result is a vibrant, functional space that perfectly balances old and new.
